In early 2014, Wladimir Klitschko held the WBO +IBF + WBA belts. There were no other titlists. The WBC title was vacant. Wladimir had defeated Povetkin in a #1 vs #2 match-up, to solidify his status as Heavyweight KING. There was NO DISPUTE. While Stiverne (#3) fought Arreola (#6) in May 2014 for the vacant WBC strap, Wladimir fought the division’s #1 contender, Pulev, in November 2014, in another defense of the true heavyweight crown. Pulev was ranked above Stiverne (WBC titlist) in both the Ring and TBRB ratings. – LinealBoxChamp on Twitter. How many are Undisputed Heavyweight Boxing Champions now? >
