The earliest European proto-towns: Trypillia Mega-sites in Ukraine can be true Cradle of Civilization

One of the most famous Ukrainian archaeological sites – Maidanetske situated in Cherkassy oblast – can be a true Cradle of Civilization, writes French Science & Vie magazine. American Antiquity magazine names several other mega-sites of the same period and in the same area “the earliest European proto-towns”: “The Trypillia (Tripolye) mega-sites in the Kirovograd (Kropyvnytsky now) and Cherkassy regions of Ukraine constitute the largest sites in fourth millennium BC Europe.
